Woohoo!!! It's almost fall!!! I hope that you ladies have a great time getting to know each other better over the next couple of months :)

Here are a couple of questions to get you started:

Do the leaves change color where you live?

Are there any special fall events or festivals that you're looking forward to doing?

Hi!
I'm Sarah (30) married to Christian (29). I work part time as a history teacher in a middle school and dh is an internet rep for ULine. He's going to school to be an instructional designer so after that's over, who knows where he'll get a job and where we'll end up! We have a 3 month old little girl, Claire.
We live in Chino, California so we don't have a lot of seasonal changes. Ok, it gets a little windy and a bit cooler in the fall and winter. Buuut that's it.
As for looking forward to stuff, I do like the cooler weather but don't like going back to work, especially now that my little girl's here! I'm excited for family and thanksgiving and the general fall season. :-)

Hi Ladies! Wow...it's the 7th. I don't know how often I will be on, unfortunately. Our laptop screen crashed and right now I am typing on the laptop on my lap while I look at the external monitor on the desk that's plugged into the laptop. I'm leaving tomorrow to go to Houston for a week and DH is sending the laptop in for repairs so I may well be without a computer for a couple weeks. Anyway...

I'm Aimee, I'm a recent SAHM to Aliza Caroline, 15 months, and 10 weeks pregnant with another little one. I've been married 5 years to Nate.
I'm currently also suffering from all-day nausea (yes, and vomiting), as seems to be normal for me when I'm pregnant, I had it pretty much all 9 months with Aliza and it gets worse as time goes on, not better. It's starting out milder this time, though, so I'm praying that maybe it will end with the first trimester. Being sick all day and chasing a toddler is rough! I'm also not online much b/c usually the computer is being used to watch old episodes of Blues Clues on Netflix as a way to let Mommy rest. :p

Aliza and I are flying to Houston tomorrow to visit my college roommate and her daughter, who is almost exactly 5 months older than my LO. We planned this trip before I got pg, so I'm just a bit annoyed that I won't be able to enjoy it like I might if I were feeling better. This baby was a bit of a surprise! Please pray that I would be able to enjoy the visit and not be a sick draggy friend the whole time who's no fun to be around.

As for fall...well, we're still waiting for it here in Arkansas. LOL. The temps don't usually turn until October. Some years we get great foliage, other years the leaves turn brown in a week and fall off. I grew up in Maine so I'm never very impressed by the "color" here. It's nothing like I'm used to.

Thanks Lindy and Tara for my awesome siggies!

Wow! You've got a lot going on! :-) Christian works full time. He's started a master's program which requires that he have a job. Most of his assignments and projects are supposed to be implemented in a work-place setting so when we discussed what to do about the baby (daycare? me work half time, him quit etc.) he couldn't quit because of that. If I were full time, I'd nearly double his salary and we definitely loose our house if I totally quit so the compromise was that I teach only part time. My mom and my grandma and a gal from church alternate days watching Claire while I teach my 3 class periods a day. We are hoping that when Christian finishes his MA degree, he can find a better paying job, or we can move out of CA (it's so stinking expensive) so I can quit and stay home with our kids. We'll see!

Wow you are one busy lady. That's awesome that your DH gets to stay home with the boys though.

How can I pray for you this week?

That's really nice that your Mom and Grandma can watch your baby girl. I had to go back to work when my DD was 5 weeks and just recently resigned b/c paying for someone to watch her was eating up 65-705 of my pay, so it really wasn't worth it.
I read your post about the bottle feeding but I didn't reply b/c I'm afraid I don't have any advice. My DD did the opposite--she started to prefer the bottle, for the strange reason that it had actually a slower flow. I had terrible overactive letdown and oversupply issues and she didn't like being drowned by Mama every time she tried to eat. We got to the point where I was pretty much exclusively pumping and eventually switched to formula when she was 10 months b/c I couldn't handle it anymore. Thankfully I will get to stay home with the next one so I won't be so exhausted and will want to actually work on a good bf relationship. I'm praying that your DD will take the bottle and it won't affect her nursing for you!

Thanks Lindy and Tara for my awesome siggies!
