Woohoo!!! It's almost fall!!! I hope that you ladies have a great time getting to know each other better over the next couple of months :)

Here are a couple of questions to get you started:

Do the leaves change color where you live?

Are there any special fall events or festivals that you're looking forward to doing?

Well, thankfully AF was gracious enough to wait until after our trip to "visit."

Glenda, my PMS has also been slightly worse since having Andrew too.

Some quick updates from me since things are so crazy, plus the system will go down in a day!

Andrew seems to be getting closer to talking.

Hi ladies!

How are you liking the new iv? I'm not sure what I think of it yet. Everything is so...big. I liked navigating the old iv better. And I was hoping all the updates would make it less slow but nope. It's still slow as ever. Oh well.

Glenda, glad that AF waited until after your trip to show! Also glad you had a backup babysitter. That is sweet how attached Ben became to him while you were gone. Kids are so funny.

The picture your daughter drew would make me want to cry too. That is so sad. :-(

Cathy, I'm going to try baked beans. I have a can in the pantry that I honestly forgot about. I don't make them often. Aww poor Andrew busting his lip open! That's so sad! Gabe always has bruises all over his legs, you'd think we beat the kid! But nope, just a busy clumsy boy. That is exciting that Andrew is getting closer to talking now! :-)

Gabe's eating improved this week. Tonight was bad again, but for a whole week I was shocked at the things he decided to try eating. He ate noodles in pasta sauce (they were macaroni noodles, so they looked familar lol), he ate lasagna (a pretty big piece, too!), he ate grilled cheese (he didn't want it until I took the pieces of bread apart, then he ate each slice individually), chicken nuggets (okay not healthy, but it was something new!), a macaroni casserole with ham - yeah he ate the ham too, and a handful of other things. Not a single fruit or veggie but at least he branched out beyond mac n cheese. Tomorrow we will attempt a honey teriyaki chicken and at some point this week I want to make some candied yams to go along with the half a ham I have left. I am craving them. It's not even November yet!

We are all getting over colds right now, Elena got sick last Monday and we all followed suit.  I got it really bad.  It's been ages since I had a cold that actually made me feel like I couldn't function.  I have to admit we spent a lot of the week watching TV so I could just zone out on the couch.  I couldn't sleep well because my sinuses hurt so bad, but I didn't want to take any medication that would help me sleep because I was afraid I wouldn't wake up if one of the kids needed me.  Elena spent most the night in our bed all last week propped up on the boppy since she could breathe better that way.  On Friday I made DH be 'in charge' of the kids so I could finally take some night-time cold medication.  Ahhh glorious sleep!  I felt so much better the next morning.  Elena and I are the only ones still sick, just left over stuffy noses.  Gabe didn't get it very badly and still STTN all week thankfully!  His naps were not very good though, he kept waking up frustrated because he couldn't breathe well through his nose but he didn't want to stop sucking on his paci.  I'm glad we are all on the mend and can get back to a normal routine.

Cathy,

All 4 of my kids were born with ureteral reflux which causes their urine to back up into their kidneys.
