Woohoo!!! It's almost fall!!! I hope that you ladies have a great time getting to know each other better over the next couple of months :)

Here are a couple of questions to get you started:

Do the leaves change color where you live?

Are there any special fall events or festivals that you're looking forward to doing?

Leah, I think I missed the pepcid thing. Is it for Gabe's reflux? I didn't even know they made pepcid for babies! Good luck - I hope Glenda's idea works!

What is a "crib soother"? Is it one of those things that plays music and has things that moves (Andrew has something that plays classical music and fishies and turtles move - Baby Einstein). Andrew has a glow worm - he loves it. Sometimes that's how he lets us know he's up ;l) I bet that he was up playing. Next time we'll just turn down the monitor and let him put himself back to sleep - he could do it before, maybe he can go back to it!

Today I did a very brave thing - I took Andrew (alone!) to a work social event. It was at a bar and grill. At first the only faculty person that was there was my boss (the chair), and he actually made Andrew smile! Then other faculty showed up, and Andrew put on quite a show. He kept giving his sippy cup to the prof sitting next to me. He would throw his sippy cup across the table sometimes, and the comment I got was "I think he's going to be a quarterback" :) He was quite social, which is surprising for him because he's usually shy with new people. The drive there was another story - took 1 hour 20 minutes in rush hour traffic which was very slow. Plus I got lost, so Andrew was quite crabby. I'm surprised he did well at the restaurant!

Back to work for me - I feel like I'm so behind after leaving work early.

I guess this is pretty much the end for the three of us.

I've heard of that helping people, so I hope it helps you! Praying for you!

My trip is going well, but I miss Andrew so much.

I can't imagine leaving Ben for even 1 day, so I feel for you. Hope you enjoy your trip otherwise.

As for the meds, I'm going to talk to the pedi tomorrow, just to make sure it's okay with breastfeeding. I'm weaning Ben, but every time I start, he gets sick, won't eat, and wants ONLY to nurse. Hopefully he'll stay well long enough for me to get started.
