Hi all! This is the thread to join if you're new to the board or weren't able to sign up for G2K. I look forward to seeing who joins me in the thread here and here are some questions to break the ice:

Do the leaves change color where you live?

Are there any special fall events or festivals that you're looking forward to doing?

I'll break the ice first :)

Do the leaves change color where you live? Yes, which is one thing i do love here. But it's sad too because i know that means winter is on it's way with months of gray skies and naked trees

Are there any special fall events or festivals that you're looking forward to doing? I'm not sure, but i would like to take the kids to a pumpkin patch or to an apple orchard.

Do the leaves change color where you live? Yes and I love that about fall!

Are there any special fall events or festivals that you're looking forward to doing? No festivals, but playgroup starts up again in the elementary school. Yay! Hope that it won't just benefit the boys, but me as well - I enjoyed making friends in my hometown when Tim started at the playgroup there. (I miss those ladies and need to make friends here!)

I'll drop in! For those that don't know, I'm Rachel, married to Ray. We have Killian (10 months) and are expecting Ronan in January :) I had a moment of sheer panic tonight when I realized that my first baby's hospital delivery

Your fall plans sound so cool! And lol at the mean bill lady! I have serious issues with drs offices that want you to pay before the baby is even out. I only dealt with that when i was going to change drs for peanut's birth, and when they charged a ton for the first visit and then sent a bill with a payment booklet right after, i told them i would not be going back. Didn't help that the dr was a big meanie either lol--she actually fussed at me for some of the questions i asked about and acted generally annoyed. But at 6 weeks pregnant, i thought setting up a payment plan was a bit over the top.

Sorry for the novel :p Did they ever call back with the results of the u/s? Is little Ronan doing well?

I can't hardly stand anyone who works at my ob's office except for my doctor! I think he's great, and he delivered my first baby. We went back to the dr. for just a regular appointment, and he said everything looks really good with Ronan. He didn't even mention the calcification or any other markers for the trisomies, so I'm thinking I can rest alot easier now! Killian has been trying to walk though, so now I've got a whole new bunch of concerns! He's into EVERYTHING and I can't keep him in one spot with him crawling around, I don't even want to think about him being able to walk!

I think we've been to playgroup two or three times now since it's been back - this week the boys are keeping cold germies at home as much as possible... Seemed like I recognise more of the mums now and there's been a little time for conversation - that's usually easiest when there are only a few kids present, but it appears like a popular program so far this year.

Anyway, I think it's good for us, and I still have my CSP and Bookshelf ladies available anytime for adult conversations. :)

Yay!!! It's Nicole!!! I'm sorry it took me so long to see this post. I can't believe how big peanut is sometimes--i'm wondering where my baby is :p And little miss Eryn is getting so big too! I hope you're able to stick around...this thread tends to be slow, so maybe we can keep you up to date in here ;)
