Yikes to the allergy! I agree with changing what you use for a scent. I would love to have something like that with a pine smell. We use an artificial tree, and am always trying to find things to give the house that pine smell for Christmas. I should try to make decorative ones with that smell can hang directly on the tree :)

I like that idea! why couldn't you use pine oil or real pine needles - we have a fake tree too so I need to work on that one too! We home make our tree decorations and I saw a really easy fish out of construction paper - duh! the perfect symbol of Christmas but I never though of putting fish on the tree!

I have never used actual pine needles simply because I didn't want dogs or kids to get ahold of them.
