Uh oh, J number 3 jumping in late! Hi, I'm Jasmine, and this is my second time doing prayer partners. I had so much fun last month and can't wait to get to know you all!

I am a little bit different from most people on this board in that I don't have any living children. I have had 3 miscarriages and DH and I are now preparing to begin the adoption process. For this reason, I didn't feel comfortable in the ttc or pregnancy Christian Sisters board but wanted to join one so this is where I ended up!

DH and I have been married for almost a year (we were one of the zillions of 7/7/07 marriages last summer). We were best friends in high school, then realized senior year we were much more than that.

I work part time as a nanny , I've been with the family for 3 years and LOVE it! I teach Sunday school for 3-5 year olds, and DH and I co-teach a Wednesday night class for 8-12 year olds, and work in the nursery twice a month, as well as being the singer in the church praise band. I also volunteer at the local food pantry which I love, although it can be a little bit heart-breaking at times.

DH is an IT guy in healthcare, and is also working on his Master's degree, and starting a side business with his best friend. He is the church tech guy, and also helps at the food pantry in his spare time (what little he has). He actually just became a Christian last fall, even though I started dragging him to church with me when we were 16. He is taking the new believer's class and preparing to get baptized hopefully next month!

We also have 4 cats who keep me company at home all day.

I can't wait to get to meet you all! How can I pray for you?

Hi Jasmine!

I'm so sorry to hear of your losses, but so happy to hear that you are starting the adoption process!! That is great! I will keep you and your DH in my prayers that the process goes just as quickly and smoothly as it can for you.

My husband also works in healthcare, although in finance.

I'm sorry to hear about your physical problems, Shae. Hopefully this surgery will help!

Hi Jess! I'm also married to a Chris :) We live in Iowa... so we're kind of neighbors. Did you get much flooding in your area? It didn't affect us at all, but there were a lot of homes near us destroyed. My DH and I went to University of Iowa so to see all that under water and hear about the buildings destroyed was heartbreaking!

HI 3J's. Wow you all sound like such awesome people.

Jasmine I hear you on the m/c's I had 2 before Nathan and 1 right before I got pg with Josh. It took us 24 months to have Nathan. and Josh was a really hard pregnancy...he honestly should have never been born by medical standards. But thankfully we know a much higher Dr who had different plans! When I was TTC Nathan I gave up and told God i can't take the journey anymore and I couldn't take another m/c. 2 weeks later I was pg and 9 months later I had Mr Taters. I will be praying for you.

I hope you guys have a beautiful Tuesday!

Jess I will be praying for you guys this week. it's tough to get rid of things. Although I have somewhat of the opposite problem... I tend to get over eager and throw happy and then wonder what happened to stuff! Have you done FlyLady? I think she has a pretty good system for dealing with stuff. I try to at least do my morning and evening routines everyday and a load of laundry daily. That really helps.

Good luck to you! I'll keep you in my prayers.

Jill
