First, a quick introduction; I'm Cmod Heather, and new to Christian Sisters. I'm so thrilled to be assigned here, where I can find ladies of my own ilk. (Ilk? I love that word.)

Oh, God is able to heal since it says in the Bible that he took our sicknesses. And the best part about that is that God is more willing than he is able. He wants us to be healed. It also says in the Bible that Satan came to steal, kill and destroy in John 10:10. God doesn't want us sick. So, continue to believe that your husband is going to wake up tomorrow and be 100% healed from this work of darkness. With faith we can move mountains, walk on water, and raise people from the dead. Healing somebody is easy work for the God who created our world!

Welcome to our corner of IV :) Praying for the whole situation! It's so hard to be in pain and not have a concrete way to diagnose to problems. I hope God has healing in mind for your DH- either as a miracle now or through a great doctor being able to treat him! (((Hugs))))

Disability applications are notoriously hard too- if it takes excessively long don't hesitate to look around for a lawyer who will push his case for a percentage of the back pay as the fee. My uncle had applied for 2 years getting denied and as soon as he retained a lawyer they changed their tune & he had 2 years worth of back pay! Having this in motion now can't hurt in case it takes longer to get a handle on what's causing the problems. If he's able to go back to work later then fabulous!

BTW, I'm Angie, %& years old, married 13 years, sahm homeschooling mom to 2 boys (10 & 6), a 19month girl, and expecting another boy in February.

Welcome to CSP Heather! I'm Heather (too) wife of Mike and Mom to Adelaide. I agree ilk is a great word!

Father, we ask you to comfort Heather's husband and completely heal him by your mighty hand. If you have other plans than miraculous healing then Lord we ask that you ease his symptoms. We also ask for you to give the Dr's wisdom,

Hi Heather, and welcome to CSP :) First I am praying for your husband to be fully and miraculously healed in the name of Jesus tomorrow morning when he wakes up, IF that doesn't happen I pray that the doctor on the 25th clearly hears and fully understands what your husband is feeling, not feeling, and experiencing. I pray that through out you would be filled with a peace that surpasses everyone's understanding, I pray that your kids are sheltered from the stress of daddy not feeling well. I pray that your family and friends see your needs before you have to speak them and they step up and help and bless you and your family in a very big and unexpected way.

Second, I will introduce myself ;) I am Jess, married to Chris for 13 years, we have 5 kids together Bailey (DD, 12), Morgan (DD, 10), Christopher Jr (DS, 7), Emily (DD, 3), and Madison (DD, 20 months). Madison has very complex care and very special needs, we have endured 20 hospital stays with 4 surgeries in her life. We are still seeking a broad diagnosis to explain Madison's many quirks and issues. We live in rural Missouri. DH works at a globally known employer in the automotive area. Again welcome to the board and I can't wait to get to know you better!
