I am going to copy and paste my FB post. Let me just say first, I am still a little uneasy, and am not sure I believe the story or not.
Ok, sorry for the vague post..but I didn't have time to elaborate. I'll try to make a long story short. I saw a teenage boy sprint past my house this morning. About a minute later, he came to my door. He was very shaken up, and told me I should call the police. He said he had seen a man in front of my house, touching himself, and looking in my window. Since I am alone with the kids, I obviously freaked out. I called the police, he talked to me and the neighbor kids that saw him, and then I saw him talking to somebody else.
The officer came and told me he knows who the guy is. Supposedly, it was an autistic 18 year old guy that has the mentality of an 11 year old. He claimed to be confused about what house he was looking for, and was looking in my window trying to see if it was the right house. He told the police officer he was just scratching an itch. I am all for giving people the benefit of the doubt. But if that boy comes near this house when my kids are outside, he will face a fierce mama bear.
On the plus side, I can not believe that an 18 year old boy ran out and chased that guy away from my house. He didn't think of his safety, and his first reaction was to protect my family. There is still good in the world people!
Oh my goodness!!! I'd be so freaked out! Maybe I'm wrong, but if he has the mentality of an 11 year old, isn't that old enough to know the difference between houses? I mean, my seven yo wouldn't look in someone's window :/
Thank the Lord you have good neighbors that are looking out for you!

You poor thing! Do you have a back yard that you can play behind the house... maybe where he can't see you? Ick. I'm really just hoping that they misjudged the level of his autism, and that he really doesn't know what's going on and that he really was just looking in because he didn't know better. AND that he was just scratching an itch
Especially that he was just scratching an itch.

I totally agree with your children's pastor!
