I'm feeling a 'little' impatient. But mainly I think because there are quite a few women around me that are having their babies NOW and I want my baby lol. At the same time though I don't want to rush this pregnancy, I love being pregnant :)

I'm 16w today (17w tomorrow if we go by size...lol) and still waiting for the consistent flutters. I've felt baby a few times, but I'm so ready for the every day kicks!

Our big u/s is scheduled for February 1st. We're not finding out gender, so I'm anxious to get this u/s over with so we're in the clear to wait till birth to find out :)

I can't believe you are in the second trimester already! I always loved feeling the baby moving. You can't beat that special connection only mommy and baby share.

Hey!

So I started getting sick on Thursday (bad runs to the bathroom every 5-10 min if yaknowwhatImean) and still don't feel fantastic today dispite not going to work either day (felt like a big baby since I only work until 11:30 anyway).

Aw, big hugs for both you and Claire feeling gross! I hope you're back to normal by the time you read this!

Yay for a "boring" pregnancy. :) I hope things look great all the way through!

I'm still here for another few weeks, I think. I can't remember when the 3rd trimester starts-28 or 30 weeks? I had an appointment on Tuesday and everything looked good. I'm feeling anxious because I've already gained 13 or so pounds and I really wanted to keep it under 22 this time around-I really don't want a repeat of my first pregnancy when I gained 50 pounds, haha! Everything else is going fine, I get another ultrasound in 5 weeks to check her growth and so the doctors will know what I've been telling them-she'll probably be huge just like my other two. I did the glucose test and I've not heard anything back from that, so no news is good news!

I'm also assuming you'd have a call and follow-up appt for the glucose test showing gestational diabetes. Yay for no news! :)

I think I was about 30 lbs gained with each of my boys and both were 9 lbs (and a bit). Hopefully your girl is a healthy weight and comes out easily, too! ;)

Hugs and prayers!

Yeah, you are probably good with the glucose screening :) Especially if you feel fine! I don't think they ever called me, just told me at the next appointment.

I hear you on the weight. With Boys #1 & #2 I gained 50+ with each of them. With my girl I gained 30 which was much nicer but I had a hard time getting it off :S This time I'm at 17lbs at 34 weeks so will probably end up 25 or less but I have some serious work to do after this one!

So it's been a crazy couple of weeks. Not sure who all is on FB or not, but thought I would give another update here :)

Jonathan had surgery last Tuesday, his left testicle never dropped, so we knew since he was born that he'd have to have this done. Then on Friday I started having pain in my back/side, ended up having my mom take me to the ER it got so bad. It felt just like when I had a kidney stone last Feb.

Well they admitted me to the hospital and kept me overnight. Couldn't officially confirm that it was a kidney stone because they couldn't do a CAT scan while I was pregnant. They were pretty sure it was a kidney stone based on the amount of pain I was having and the dilation of the kidney that they saw on the ultrasound.

I went home on Sat afternoon and have been doing fine. Only had to take my pain meds a few times Sat. night, then only once Sun. night. None since then and pain is staying away.

I'm feeling baby every day now :) which of course I love lol. I have a follow-up with the OB this Friday from the hospital stay, then our anatomy scan is set for next Wednesday. ONE WEEK!! YAY!! We're taking both boys to that, but we're not finding out gender :) we're going to wait.

I hope everyone is doing well!! And I'm hoping for a much smoother week for us this week :)

ETA: I forgot to say that Jonathan's recovery has been very smooth. Much better than I thought it would be. His follow-up is next Wednesday to make sure everything is healing up nicely. So far though, the pain only lasted about 24hr and he's been his normal self ever since then.

Yikes to a kidney stone! I'm glad you're recovering well. And Jonathan, too! I hope the surgery wasn't too scary for him.

Hooray for the ultrasound next week! :)
