If you guys were like me, fairly soon after getting the bfp, it was time to start looking at all the baby gear.

We were given a used Diaper Genie with our first babe and didn't use it longer than a week. A garbage pail was so much easier (though I wonder if those who've used the Genie a lot find it's just something that you need to get used to).

Now I use store brand freezer bags (large) and when the bag is full of diapers, pull-ups and laundry room garbage, it goes outside to the can. Our house is too small for the smell not to spread otherwise! LOL

This is my 3rd time around and I can't wait to use my Moby wrap with Harper! I know that I'll be using like all day everyday! I just can't wait to use it.

I also find Boppy pillows to be very useful when nursing. And swings or bouncy seats are lifesavers as well. :)

Boppy pillows rock! I could nurse anywhere with that pillow and be so comfy. :D I also used it to help Ben learn to sit by putting it at his back and having a large regular pillow in front to cover all possibilities of falling.

My wrap n wear (it's like the Moby, it just has a cute design on the front). I wore Elena in it a lot when she was a newborn so I could easily take Gabe for walks. Didn't wear her much around the house because she prefered her bouncy seat.

So a bouncy seat. :)

Swing.

Boppy. I didn't bf either of my kids but it was still so helpful for feedings and for them to take their little newborn catnaps on. :) And to wrap behind them when they are learning to sit like Becca mentioned.

Woombie. I thought it was a silly expense until Elena proved she could break out of even the Halo swaddle sleep sacks. She really needed to be swaddled to sleep as a newborn (Gabe hated it so it was a new experience for me) so we went ahead and bought one and we used it every night until she was about 4 months old.

Cloth diapers. I wish we had used cloth from the very beginning. I don't know if that counts under 'baby gear' but I've become fairly cloth diaper obsessed lately. I love that they almost never leak and they are so darn cute, plus we are saving ourselves money in the long run. :)

I loved my Bumbo with Peanut. I think it was super great for her because she was a second kiddo and really wanted to play with elijah and the bumbo was a fun way for her to sit up and interact. It was also a great seat for her when she didn't want to be in the bouncer and it saved my sanity when she wanted to roll all over the house :)

Wow its pretty cool being a BTDT mom :)

Because we had serious trouble with Andrew learning to nurse, we did NOT use the boppy.

Some must-haves for me was the Miracle Blanket (it really is a miracle, my kids could break out of any other kind of swaddle!), the swing, nursing pillow and I loved my Tummy Tub. :)
