We started a week and a half ago. Kevin is in kindergarten now, that changes a lot for us. But it is going good so far.

I was fine, but it is actually easier for me. He now goes to work with me since I work in the same district.

Even we late starters have been back for a while now.  Malachi started 2nd grade on 9/6, and Aaron started a SN preschool on 9/5.  Glad they didn't both have first day at the same time, given that they go to separate schools.  Just heard that they may be changing the cutoff for grade here, so that future kids will have to turn 5 by Dec. 1 to start K instead of Dec. 31 Malachi's year.  Wow, we dodged a $13,000 bullet!  (Approx. what an additional year of daycare costs around here--M. is a late Dec. birthday.)

Wow ours is 5 by August 31. We actually held Kev out another year as he is 6 and just started kindergarten.

Wow, 13,000! I'm sure that's around average but I had never heard of it in terms of a yearly figure before.
