Hi ladies!
I actually logged on this morning so I thought I'd go ahead and start chat for today. Like some of you mentioned, it's definitely been a tough week with the school shooting last Friday. So sad!!! I was at my parent's house visiting when it happened. And with everything going on with my dad... battling the later stages of brain cancer.... I just couldn't handle it. He kept wanting to turn the TV on and my sister, mom and I kept asking him to turn it off. It was just too much for us to take. :(
When I got home on Sunday, DH and Ian stayed home, DH tells me that he's feeling a cold coming on. In my head I'm thinking... "Ok, just deal with it!" (I'm not the best nurse!) ;) So he ends up staying home from work on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning. For a cold!! If it was me, I'd be up and at the gym and doing all my usual household chores... oh yeah, and taking care of Ian... even if I had a cold. I know I'm partially stressed out about my dad... but come on... it's a cold, not the flu!
Thanks for letting me vent!
Today is Ian's last day of school and then he's out for 2 weeks!

Cheryl- I am so sorry about your dad. Many (((HUGS))).
That is why men get over colds so much faster-they are actually able to rest when sick!!! Must be nice...
I have a cold too, no rest here. Just try to ignore it as much as possible. I hope to feel better by the weekend.
A huge snow storm just missed us, thank God. We have plenty- so happy to be having a white Christmas and the forcast even shows light snow for Monday & Tuesday-how perfect:)
Nola has her last night of gymnastics for this session tonight then think we will watch Rudolph tonight. So happy that the kids are off school after tomorrow. They only get next week then 2 days over New Years. Just want them home with me!
