Interesting article in the NY Times magazine about a man who was a preacher and is now an atheist.

He has a brain, that's all I can say. Anybody who has some thinking skills and deeply study religions he or she will get out of it no doubt about that. Studying religion will only allow you to see the flaws and how cruel most religions can be.

Christianity has very strong evidence. And we cannot have a serious discussion about faith until you find out what the word actually means.

There's is about as much evidence for Christianity as there is for leprechauns.  Wink

With that said, if you want to discuss such topics, then the Religion Debate board is where you should go.

There used to be a disclaimer on this board about it.

It is fine if a believer asks what makes us tick, but if you pop in with a nasty tone like you did, then chances are that your double post will soon be eliminated by a community leader.
