Anyone seen this show yet? We live opposite side of the country and so eagerly waiting for the national tour. My DD was already into it and then we saw the number on the Tony's. I downloaded the album yesterday and am thoroughly enjoying it. It has some language and subject matter you won't want a young kid hearing though (it is from the South Park creators lol.) I have not seen it. I live about 2hrs from NYC but, don't see Broadway shows that often as they are crazy expensive. I can't believe it has won so many awards! I also can't believe the LDS people aren't protesting in the streets over this play. Most religions are stupid but, I must say that since the things that Mormons believe are supposed to have taken place in the relatively recent past, it makes it extra stupid IMHO.
I think it's wise they don't protest. Not only does protesting give added publicity but it makes you look insecure when you get outraged and defensive.
I would love to see it.
