I can't believe it's this weekend and that October is pretty much over!

Do you have any plans for Halloween?

We're just hanging out at the house.

My kids are in high school and college. The only thing I have to do for Halloween is prepare myself to look at my two dd's Facebook pictures and try not to faint. Somewhere along the lines, Halloween has become an excuse for older girls and women to dress like prostitutes. My girls are both in college and lets just say most years, I wish A LOT more of their skin was covered up.

I noticed that ninjas were really popular last year too. DS had a Halloween party after school last year, and I think most of the boys were ninjas. DD had talked about being a ninja at one point, but changed her mind.

I love the orange and purple lights.

I know what you mean. We went to the Halloween store a couple of weekends ago, and most of the costumes for women were really skimpy. The little girl costumes were even starting to look like the adult costumes.
