Ruth, can I share this url with my parish? I've been looking for sources of advent activities for families to put in the St. Nick gifts. I was going to put together some materials, but I'm running low on time. Your page is perfect. May I share it?

Sure Polly you can share it. Anyone else as well. The first section of links you can copy and print out if you'd like. Especially the Advent Booklet and Advent Brochure which I put together myself about three years ago. The brochure I use every year and just change the year on the front of it LOL. It does have our Mass schedule on the back of it that you probably wouldn't want but if you'd like you could just copy any ideas from the brochure. I'm thinking of some of your parishioners who may not have access to the internet but this year we've really assumed that probably a lot of our parishioners now do use the internet in some way and we really mention the parish web site/email etc. a lot more now than we ever did. The second set of "Outside Links" are obviously just links to other material on other web sites so I wouldn't advise copying any of that. But it's certainly ok to give any URL's out, whether to our specific page or to any of the individual links on it.

Thank you for your resource page. I just wanted to share about when we were growing up, the family had an Advent centerpiece on the dining room table & all I remember was saying prayers (I don't recall what) & lighting the candles on it before dinner &/or at night before bedtime. This is ALL I remember, so it's very helpful to have these resources available! You are SO resourceful!
