An anulment question....

Hello.....I am hoping that you can help me. I have petitioned the diocese to obtain an anulment regarding my first marriage. All the paperwork and the testimonies of the witnesses has been completed. I received a letter yesterday asking me to call their office to set up an appointment for my testimony interview. I am confused as to exactly what this is and was wondering if anyone here has experienced this. Are they going to ask me about my written account that I had mailed into their office? Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so very much. Clairey

I am so sorry none of us responded to you. I was hoping someone who had been through anulment might step in and help you. I don't have an answer for you, unfortunately. Maybe call your diocese and see exactly what it is they are looking for.

Welcome to the board anyway.

Did you have the interview yet? How did it go? I'm sorry you didn't get any replies. I haven't been posting much lately; looks like others haven't either.

I think the in person interview is just a chance to ask more questions and clarify anything on the written part, but I'm not sure.

Good for you for getting an annulment. I know some Catholics see it as an unnecessary and a burden, but everyone I know who has gone through it has been glad they did.

I hope it went well, and that you'll stick around here!

I'm sorry no one responded. I was going to, but w/ a new baby due any day now (my edd is today) I've been very busy and tired.
