I was there once for Latin mass. It was different. I'll tell you. You didn't see the kids misbhaving in church. One boy did something. His father took him out back. Gave him a couple swats on the behind. Said enough. You will sit there and behave. The go back to their seat. Boy was well behaved. Their mass is at 10am. I think half hour before. They pray the Rosary. Well they did the one time I went. People were very dressed up. I didn't see one woman in pants. They all had skirts or dresses on. The men and kids were also nicely dressed. So keep that in mind if you go. You can go on the www.archmil.org Under parishes. You can find St. Stanislaus there. If you want more info on the church. I think when I was a kid. That parish was mostly Polish people. Now it's kind of mixed with quite a few hispanics.

It sounds like St. Stanislaus is a good alternative. If you go, let me know what it is like. I've always wondered about that church. Maybe I'll take the kids there on a field trip some Sunday! I bet they'd find Latin Mass interesting.

I've never heard of it. Good call staying away though. If you're interested in Latin Masses, I think there some churches offer them. Did the dioceasan website say anything about that? Also, for a change of pace, you could go to a non-Latin rite Mass. There's a church in Tosa that does that. I can't remember it's name. I think it is near a bus line, however. It was Fabian Bruskewitz's old parish, before he became a bishop. If I get time, I'll try to find some Latin Masses on the south side. Does St. Josaphat's do a Latin Mass? Or maybe Old St. Mary's downtown?
