Where are the other members with a baby on the way? How are things going?

I'm at 20 weeks and thought I was either having a bladder issue or I was leaking amniotic fluid this past Friday afternoon. But because the doctor's office closed at 11:30, I had to go to the ER. It was the fastest ER visit I've ever had, I can tell you that much. It appears that I indeed had a bladder issue, and things are where they should be otherwise. This coming Friday the 8th is the ultrasound that will hopefully answer the nagging question of gender. I have been thinking it's another girl, because my backside spread big time, and I've been craving stuff like steak, burgers and chicken - like I did with dd6. I've also had a few people ask me about a baby shower, which I tell them a friend has already called dibs on it. A friend even asked about a betting pool to guess the gender. I told her it would be a better pool if they did a delivery date bet since there's hardly any time this week to pull one together. Plus it will be more interesting.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

~Trish

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

LOL you are nipping at my heels. It didn't register just how close behind me you are with your pregnancy. I have been in maternity pants since around 12 weeks because my backside spread so far my own pants stopped fitting. Plus I didn't have any postpartum clothes left, I got rid of them the last couple years. It wasn't the belly that prevented the fastening, it was the hiney. I'm thinking this is another girl for that reason and I've been craving the same things as I did with dd6. I have been feeling the Stowaway thumping around for several weeks, and the thumps are finally starting to be noticeable on the outside, but DH is never right next to me to catch it. This baby likes to stand on my bladder and stretch, and that is rather uncomfortable now, I'm praying it's no worse as the baby gets bigger. I go for the ultrasound this Friday, and I have scheduled a follow up appointment from my ER visit for right after my u/s appointment. I have a feeling I'll be at the OB's office ALLLLLL day. I want to find out the gender, because I don't want to get green and yellow. I've had utterly no interest in looking at boy names, clothes, or other related boy baby items. All I gravitate towards is the pink stuff.
I'm also always tired and really would like to be able to come home from work and do more than catch a 2 hour nap, and then direct traffic from a chair. I need to clean and declutter and pack in preparation for a move to a house we haven't found yet, but I just know Divine Guidance will lead us to it. I have figured out that if I get up earlier in the morning and start cleaning here and there while I wait for dd6 to get ready for school, I'm infinitely more productive than if I try to wait till I get home from work. So much for the 2nd trimester energy and nesting...the nesting is there, the energy - still looking for it.

I mainly lurk, but I am 34 wks pregnant with our second. It's by God's good grace that we have made it this far. I had an emergency cerclage placed at 20 wks, have had many bouts of PTL, and GD. But, with bedrest and lots of prayers and medical intervention, my LO is hanging in. Only 2 wks before they remove the cerclage and let the chips fall where they may, so to speak. Miracles happen every day.

Glad you came out of lurkdom to update us! One or two of the ladies on my EC had to get a cerclage, and one of them had a big ordeal after getting it because it wasn't done right. As much as I want to whine about the issues I've been having, I really know it's not as bad as it could be for me.
