Christmas Eve Mass Schedules
| Mon, 12-10-2012 - 10:25am |
Our Christmas Eve mass schedules were on the bulletin yesterday, and there's one at 11PM that I suppose qualifies as a midnight mass. The others are at 4PM, 7PM and 9PM with a total of 5 masses on Christmas Eve (2 are at 4PM).
Has your parish released the Christmas Eve mass schedule yet?
For us it's 4:30 Christmas Eve. With a 4pm choir Christmas concert. Then 9am on Christmas Day. Not to many choices for us. Unless we went to another parish. But for us the 4pm mass works great.
It is nearly impossible to find a midnight Mass around here, other than the Cathedral.
Our parish will have a Christmas Eve Mass at 4 p.m. and a Christmas Day Mass at 8:30 a.m. Christmas Eve will be packed to the rafters. Christmas Day will be much more sane. Those are your choices!
There are easily a half-dozen churches within a five mile radius, so if those two possibilities don't meet your needs, you can always go elsewhere!
My church has a lot of choices, but I can only pick the one where my choir is assigned by the pastor to sing (won't know which one that is until tomorrow night.) Nice thing about church choir: I get a guaranteed preferred seat (and so does my husband, as I've got him singing now.)
