Do you do resolutions?

Do you do resolutions each year? If so, what are some things you'd like to change?

I don't usually do resolutions. I figure if something needs to change, it can be addressed at any time during the year. However, I've noticed that I've had such a sort fuse with Ian lately. I don't know if it's the age or what, but he is really pushing my buttons and I'm finding myself not responding well. I hate hearing myself yell at him, so I am going to try to have more patience when dealing with him. I think I need to get back to exercising. That might be the root of the problem, really. I've taken a break from it. DH moved my elliptical trainer so he could "do some work" in that area, so that was my excuse not to do it. He finished his work, but never moved my stuff back.

I think I'm also going to reserve Saturday morning as Mom and Ian time. Before Lucy came we used to go to the bookstore together. I'd get a coffee, he'd get a vanilla milk, and we'd share a muffin. Then we'd spend at least an hour just wandering around the store. I miss that, and I know he does too.

Jen, I never do New Years resolutions either, for the same reason you don't.

I think that one on one time with Ian you describe will help a lot. Exercise can't hurt either LOL.

No resolutions here either.

Lent always comes at a good time, and if there's something I want to address, that's a better time for me to do it.
