Congratulations on the baptism!

As for the family member who thought her money-making candle party should take priority over a baptism - well, you just can't make that stuff up, can you?!

Wonderful pictures. And I bet the boy was off somewhere else so that he could be allowed to make noise and not be "shushed" anymore lol. And your relative with the candle party - I'd just better bite my keys. Far better to bite them than need peppermint ones later.

and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Congratulations! I can't imagine anyone putting a candle party before a baptism. Did you ask her if she was selling the Light of Christ at her party?

Congratulations on Lucy's Baptism!! Loved all the photos.

For crying out loud! REFUSING to come because it conflicted with a candle party? I could understand simply saying she was sorry she couldn't attend due to a previous commitment (figuring she probably couldn't cancel the party) - but telling you she refused to come???? And expecting you to reschedule the baptism??? How easy does she figure it was gonna be to reschedule the baptism - even if you had wanted to? Some people never cease to amaze me. Probably just as well she wasn't there.
