Ahhhh...just had to post now! It's very late, and I can't sleep. I had my appendix out this past weekend, and I'm still very uncomfortable, to put it mildly! But I'm missing my snuggles with my boys. I'm thankful for my blessing of a husband who has taken this week of from work to help me, and I'm really able to rest up and heal. James and Jack don't really understand fully why Mommy can't pick them up, and it just breaks my heart! Well, just to try to get a little of that feeling, I went to check on them just now and tuck them in with one more kiss. They have a cd player between their bedrooms that plays Junior's Bedtime Songs. I just sat there with them for a bit listening and watching them sleep. I love my guys so much! I listened to Think Of Me, and it's just making me cry. Well, I figured there'd be some other Veggie fans out there, and just wanted to share! I love my job!!

Oh my Nora - I kept skipping over this post since we're quite a ways beyond Veggie Tales. Our two boys are 25 (married) and 28 ;-) But I do hope you'll soon be feeling better after your appendectomy. Take it easy and rest as much as possible while you have your hubby to help.

Thanks, Ruth. I can't imagine my babies as grown up, but I bet you can still clearly remember those cuddling days! That must be something that sticks, and I'm so glad it does. Those memories

Oh, Nora. How are you feeling today? Why didn't you tell us you were having your appendix removed? It wasn't an emergency surgery was it? I pray you recover qickly--if nothing more for the sake of your boys so they can snuggle with you agian!

What a nice dh you have to take time off work to help you out! That is a blessing.

My good friend loves the VT's and has given us few video's and tapes over the years as gifts----and darn if I can't get into them----I just can't stand their voices. My kids went through a phase of liking them too. They would ask for the words that some charactor just sang---and I would have to listen over and over and still have no clue! It's kind of sad b/c it's been an opportunity missed for us.

I own a whole series of Wee Sing CD's. They have several Bible song versions---all very well sang and well listened too!

GET WELL!!

Nora, it does seem just like yesterday - now I have the pleasure of looking forward to grandchildren! Though we have no specific word on that front yet from our son and dil ;-)

*dig* Veggie Tales.

Want me to sing? LOL My husband actually started buying the videos before we even had children; he liked "Madame Blueberry" and "The Rumor Weed" a lot. Our children love the videos and the CDs, too.
