I overdid it at work today

I have a job as a merchandiser with a publishing company. I have been getting a receiving department person to load my shopping cart for me so I can take my stuff to the front of the store to put it out, but today everyone was tied up preparing for a store inspection. So however unwise, I just went ahead and loaded the cart myself. I knew I shouldn't do it, but did anyway. On the way home I felt like I was having a contraction. I called my doctor's office and they told me to monitor it, and if it got intolerable, I had cramping or bleeding to go to the ER. So, came home, and went to bed and stayed there a couple hours. I scared dh, and he said "we don't need the money that badly." I like my job, but I know I won't be able to do it forever, pregnant or not. So, I may have done something really foolish and at this point I just won't know the extent. I submitted my service call reports online and I'm taking it very easy. I'm kind of kicking myself for lifting those boxes. But I'm also hard-headed and forget my own advice. Sometimes it's my job to accept the service of others, because in receiving, someone else is able to give. I really should heed my own advice. I have learned a lesson here, and hope it doesn't have a sour outcome.

May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

I laid in the bed the rest of the evening last night and when I got hungry I got up to make something to eat. I sat on the barstool to cook some chicken noodle soup from leftover chicken. I sat at the computer a couple hours and went back to bed. I do feel better, but Today, I'll likely practice a good bit of "bed surfing" as my friend calls it.
