An Idea to help the Iraqi Kids.

This is a little project I had thought up and ok'd with the powers that be. This is the e-mail I sent out, e-mail me if you are interested and want more info, or if you want to help in a different way:

Hey Everyone-

I had an idea to help out with a mundane, overlooked humanitarian problem of the Iraqi Children. I wanted to put together a sizable package of school supplies to mail that our troopers could hand out. This hits especially close to home because our 2nd ACR guys played a pivotal role in getting the schools back open in Baghdad. I have since learned there is a big problem with things like notebooks and pencils, I thought it would be nice to send it over to them. It would even help the morale of our troopers. By making the day brighter of a child, it is sure to bring a smile to their faces. This is just a few concerned citizens getting together to put together a package...nothing organized or in any way affiliated with the Army. Here is a list I was thinking of sending. I wanted to have the first package ready by the end of this month.

-Colored Pencils.

-Looseleaf Paper.

-Inexpensive Calculaters.

Please forward this to anyone you think might be interested! Thanks for your time. Together we can make a few people's day a little brighter, and the transition to school for those little kids a little easier. Please send any personal donations to:
