Well I'm not in either area but I can gladly suggest a way to make ivillage better.....
I've been having HORRIBLE pop-ups the past week despite my pop-up blocker being turned on and running virus scans daily and spyware scans weekly. I also have some lag in general in typing faster than it appears on the screen, and delays in mouse movement etc.
I decided to close my ivillage tabs for a while and see if that was the culprit. I had zero browsing issues when ivillage was closed. Now the issues are back. All the flash ads and changing content is slowing things down and making it frustrating for me.

I understand the ad content is there to cover operational costs, but all the connection updates it requires is making me want to drastically scale back my time on iVillage. If there HAS to be changing content can the timing be spaced out more than every 20 seconds? It's really getting annoying for me. I am on DSL, so I can't imagine someone on dialup dealing patiently with it.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
