That is a great idea!! I might keep this in mind for next year (DD is only 2 right now, and I don't think she could grasp that concept)....

That's a very cool idea, and similar to something we do at our house. We use dried beans in jars. For every good deed the kids do, or sacrifice they make, they put a bean in the jar. On Easter Sunday they turn into the chocolate eggs. My DH grew up doing this in his family, so Monica could probably tell you more about it.

I like the colors corresponding to different things with the jellybeans. That's neat!

That's awesome! My older kids are 8, 6, 5, and they will love it. Too bad I didn't read this until Ash Wednesday, but I'll announce the plan tonight and we will start it tomorrow.
