How was your weekend?

Do you have anything planned for the week?

Today is starting out well. My new coffee maker arrived (wheeee!). Last week was not fun because the old one went out on me.

Ian had breakfast at school to celebrate Johnny Appleseed's birthday (apple pancakes), so I let him sleep in a bit longer than usual. Lucy has been content to play with the bubble wrap that was used to wrap up my coffee maker. She's been at it for over an hour now. I forgot how much fun bubble wrap could be!

Ian signed up for scouts last week. He's really excited to start. He saw a lot of his friends from his tae kwon do class there (most of them are a grade ahead of him). Now, if I can just figure out the enrollment form. :/

This past weekend was okay. I had Catechist training Saturday morning, DS#1 had a birthday party to go to Saturday afternoon, Mass Sunday morning, then CCD right after.
This week is nothing but kids activities--TIger Scouts tonight, Pack meeting Thursday. This week isn't bad though, last week was Girl Scout Leaders' meeting Monday, Parish Council meeting Tuesday, Cadette Girl Scouts Wednesday, Bear scouts Thursday, Sock Hop Friday and then everything last Saturday. This week is pretty light for me.
Have a great week.

Our weekend was good. Lucy was in a parade on Saturday while Ian ran in his first cross country meet at the same time. DH and I had to split up so they could both participate in their activities. Ian has never run before (besides the first two practices held earlier in the week), and he finished 34th out of 35, and I'm very proud of him. Lucy rode her balance bike in the parade. The last time we did a parade, I wound up carrying her because her legs are so short she could barely keep up.

Sunday, Lucy and I went to a morning mass (we usually go at night). I had volunteered to help with a project after mass. It was a nice change of pace to be at one of the morning services, but I couldn't get DH to come with us. He just couldn't manage to get himself ready in time. Ian had spent the night with his grandparents, so it was just us girls.

This week...I don't think we have much planned. A couple of practices for Ian. School for the kids. Just the normal stuff.
