I keep reading about how Obama is alienating Catholic voters with the requirement that all private healthcare plans cover birth control.

I agree. I just hope Romney isn't the alternative, because I really don't think he's all that different. I'm really not at all impressed with the pool of candidates for 2012.

Yep! I think it's also sad how most news agencies have their own political agenda and imply certain candidates will or will not be sucessful. What happened to reporting facts? Editorials are great - but man can not live by opinions alone. ;-)

Something like 70% of my diocese support the religous position here, Yes I do think this bill is going to matter to catholic voters... Listen to what Archbishop Tim Dolan (NY) has to say about all this if you have a chance, He's incredible..

Never liked him. Never voted for him. Like him even less now than I did four years ago. Would vote for a gallon of ice cream before I'd vote for him. Unfortunately, I don't think ameboid lot of Romney, either, so a vote for him, is mostly a vote against Obama.
