Prayer Cards

I will celebrate my 15th wedding anniversary in September. I have requested a mass to bless our marriage. After the mass, I would like to present my family and friends with prayer cards similar to the ones that are passed out during a wedding mass. If anyone knows what I am speaking about, please let me know if there is a place in where I can go and order them or if there is a catalog from which I can order them. Most prayer card websites that I have found are for prayer cards that our passed out during a wake/rosary.

Thanks for your help.

I don't know where to find them, but it sounds like a great idea. I hope you can find something that will work. Happy Anniversary.

Nice idea. Just a thought - why not ask a funeral home how/where they get theirs printed?? Usually those are pictures on the front with the name/information of the person on the back. They might be able to let you know how you could get the type done up that you'd like for your anniversary. Or.....if you know of someone handy with a computer and a good printer you could easily do your own.

Just a thought - have you checked with the parish office? The staff are a wonderful resource and if they don't know, they are helpful in getting you pointed in the right direction. The parish office is usually my first point of contact.

Another location is any wedding/bridal salon or a printer/photocopier center. Those locations have the books where one can select bridal invitations and other items to have printed. The front of the books contain the wedding invitation/announcement selection, but if you look toward the back there is a huge variety of social stationary. This is where I have selected and ordered birth announcements and baptism invitations. The text on the samples is merely there to illustrate how the paper/color/ink/embossed style will look together. You can order anything you want and they have all sizes of paper. Although the sample in the book has print on it landscape, you can order printing with the paper oriented portrait. The size you may be looking for is similar to r.s.v.p. size cards. Anyway, you can order just about anything and you can order any text you want.

It is a beautiful idea you have.

Congratulations on your anniversary.

Check this out. I was poking around on Catholic-Pages.com and saw a link on the right hand side for 'custom prayer cards'.

Try this link: http://www.aquinasandmore.com/index.cfm/FuseAction/store.viewCategory/category/487/affiliate/catholicpage4375/T/5

Or if that doesn't work, try www.catholic-pages.com and then look for the link on the right hand side for custom prayer cards.

Good luck!
