Thanks Ann, I kind of thought this wasn't out of the ordinary, especially given my small frame and lack of meat wrapped around it. To answer your question, I posted about it last week http://messageboards.ivillage.com/n/mb/message.asp?webtag=iv-pscatholic&msg=6968.1&ctx=0

Trish, have you forgotten the rubberband around the button trick? It should keep you in your jeans for at least awhile longer.

I found I stayed in my clothes about the same each time. But that doesn't mean I didn't get bigger faster -- it is just that as I got older, I bought more forgiving clothes, that had more "give" in them. Those stomach muscles aren't what they used to be, and by the end of this last pregnancy I did feel pretty huge. The funny thing was I only gained 21 lbs. -- and then I had a 9lb. 1 oz. baby!

I have not forgotten the rubberband/button trick actually. It's just the whole thing rubs my tummy the wrong way, and the zipper is snug when I sit down too. I don't have a lot of long shirts to cover it. Most of my shirts are right at the waist. I have been incredibly blessed and fortunate to keep my "girlish figure" with all three kids so far, and I started buying clothes that actually fit me properly instead of baggy stuff a few years ago. I got rid of all the baggy stuff in the process. Silly me, get rid of the stuff and I end up needing it. I'll be fine, I'm just a tad self conscious of this at the moment. Plus today was just one of those "mama feels like whining" days apparently.

I'm feeling less green now, but I'm still in a state of what I call "never ending blah and tired"
