I was on the below site submitting a prayer petition a couple weeks back. I was praying over my job situation. Asking God to send me a sign what to do next if I don't go back to the college in the new school year to work. I knew work was in the deciding process of a couple positions. That was due to a couple girls got fired and someone retired. I knew per the union rules. They'd promote based on seniority. Then what is left will go to those bottom of the seniority. I didn't know if by the time they got to me. There would be anything left positions wise. Yesterday got my call from one of the big bosses Dee Dee. We had a 3 way conference call that included a woman from the union. I was offered a pick of 2 part time positions. One working 9-2 making and serving pizza's in the food court. Or cashier in the grab and go 1-6. I took the cashier position. It works out shift wise good for us. Leaves mornings open for doctor or other appointments for dh. As him having MS. I usually have to help unload his power chair from the car to get to appointments. I'll just have to figure out dinner. Where maybe I cook in the morning. Set up a plate in the fridge for dh. Our son heats it up in the micrwave at dinner time. Or dh has to wait till 7pm when I get home from work. It takes about an hour to get home via the bus. Am very happy to be going back to work Monday.

so glad you have a job.... you could make meals in the crockpot before you leave....
or what you cook on Tues night can be the 'boys' dinner on Wed night if they can't wait for you to get home

Not working weekends I can do a big cooking. Divide up food in containers. Freeze. The night before pull something out. Then it's heat and serve. Lots of things that freeze well that are cooked. I would do lasagne in a big pan. I'd have enough for 4 meals. Even some casseroles freeze well. I'm just going to look at food we have on hand right now. See what I am doing for next weeks meals. Then I will go shopping again. Some nights when we still got hot days. I can always leave dh a plate with a sandwich and sides on it. He has a dorm size fridge by his computer desk. I keep it stocked with stuff to eat. Then he don't have to walk from the kitchen to where he sits. Sometimes when I can't be home. I make him a dinner size salad. Like a chef salad or something. Put the dressing separate. Then all he has to do is pour out his dressing and eat. I'll even set a glass of milk in his fridge covered up.
