OK - I am terrible at these dress-up day things and my kids suffer because of it.

How do you "dress 80's"?

The thing I remember the most about boys in the 80s were the layered polo shirts with the colars turned up and wearing multiple Swatch watches.

Was that the preppy look with Izod shirts and deck shoes?

Yes, the layerd polo shirts are the first thing that I thought of too ~ and the tight rolled jeans.

A Members Only jacket. That's the one thing that stands out in my memory. Also, skinny ties were in.

Now if you had girls, you could go the Flashdance route, or do the big shirt over leggings.

Hey, we might have a Member's Only jacket hanging in the back of the closet somewhere.
