Update on Easter and me.

Well, nothing really to up date on the Easter Vigil b/c I was in the hospital.

On March 25 I developed severe Pancreatitis due to a scope procedure. I was in the Hospital for 13 days. It was the first time other than child birth, that I was in the hospital for any duration that I can remember.

I did, however, receive Easter communion though!! That was kinda cool! But I did feel so bad for not being able to help at the Vigil. Apparently it went really well though! *grin*

Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and advice!

Yikes! How are you now? I had a 7-day stint in the hospital in March, and I thought that was long!

I'm glad it turned out o.k.

I'm doing pretty good, thanks for asking. Almost normal. My stamina is still pretty poor and I am on blood thinners for a few more months which is kinda scary.

You know, I can hardly believe I was in the hospital that long. It was just so day to day. The first week I was so drugged up that the days slipped by, and the rest was me just dreading the nights b/c I couldn't sleep b/c my back hurt so much and the bed, oh those beds, was so uncomfortable and there was an 8 hour gap at night for the meds.... Oh, that sucked!

Did your bed move? When I was in the hospital, I had a bed that moved to prevent bedsores, etc. It makes sense, and when I was really sick it didn't bother me, but when I started feeling better it drove me crazy! The bed was so loud, and every time I moved, it moved too, so I would try to lie completely still.

I'll say a prayer that you feel better soon. Take it easy, or it will all take longer.

No, it didn't move *lol*... I just couldn't get comfortable to save my life!! I would arrange the pillows one way and it would be great, and when I tried to repeat the 'pattern' of pillows for the next time... no such luck. My nurses wondered if I ever did sleep b/c everytime they would come in to check on me, I would say Hi!!
