from this board? I was just wondering what ya'll would like to see happening on this board ... We go through such quiet times and then there's a slew of questions and then quiet again ... What would you like to see more of on this board? What are your thoughts when you come here for a spell?

Also, if I'm having a dilemma in my life and don't know what to do about it, I know everyone here will help me figure it out.
It's kind of like this board is my "Spiritual Guide". So, guess I wasn't much help was I?
I think this board has always kind of been either slow or real busy.
Keep up the good work. Hope you get some more ideas from the others.

You have been one of the better cl's in recent years. This board has always been sort of ebb and flow. I think with the merge of the two CP boards we would be chattier. What did you find out about that?
We tend to chat about what ever comes to mind. Some of the other parenting boards are all about their kids....that is good but sometimes it just gets mindless. At least here, we talk about adult things to. I am not just a mother. I wear different hats all day long. Would it be helpful to have a news folder for current events or a reading folder for reading suggestions? I love our prayers folder, we should definatly keep that one!
I wonder if Brother Rich (or another guest layity) would like his own folder for speciffic poster questions and theme topics on tradition, bible, CCC, writings, etc?
I don't know, I was just thinking out loud.

As Baptism Coordinator and Family Ministry Coordinator at my parish for the last ten years if you'd like I'd be happy to put together a FAQ's (or something similar) for Infant Baptism. We've often discussed doing that in the past and never quite got around to it.

Thanks, Kimberly. I wasn't fishing for compliments ... LOL ... but I just wanted to know what everyone was thinking ... I think it'd be good to add maybe a couple of folders:
* Infant Baptism
* Catholic Q& A
I'm still waiting for news of any potential merger (or not). I don't know why it's taking so long, and I'm sorry about it. I check my email every day for news, but nothing so far. I'll keep ya'll posted ...
