During Lent - I think - we had a discussion here about going to confession, and some people mentioned going more often.

You get a gold star for follow-through! :)

I'm planning to take the kids next weekend. This Saturday is a Cub Scout campout, so DS will be gone for that before confessions start, so we'll do it next weekend.

We might join you next weekend, or perhaps the following.

I need to check the confession times at the two nearby churches since we've only gone Advent and Lent in the year we've been here.....

I think this weekend isn't going to work because dds are babysitting... will have to look at the rest of the month's calendar

Karen, thanks for sharing your stories. I am sure that someone will read them and realize, maybe for the first time, that the Sacrament of Reconciliation isn't punishment, or a chore, or only for those who are Sinners with a capital S - but a *sacrament* of saying to Jesus that we're sorry for not having lived in relationship with Him, and receiving forgiveness. Just as we have to express regret and ask forgiveness from the people in our lives, we have to do the same with God. Otherwise it's not much of a relationship.

I'm "due" to go, too.
