Have you seen this NYTimes article? What's your reaction?
It's discouraging. One of the reasons I stay involved religiously at my synagogue is to help maintain the community, and to feel a part of the community. But, at 54, I'm among the youngest 10% in the room! Perhaps we need to find a different way to build identity and community, and that could then lead to more religious affiliation (and I don't mean observance, necessarily). What do you think?
