2 minutes of he**

hello!! i had an experience on saturday that i wish on no one. it was the worst and scariest 2 minutes of my life. we went to a carnival with a couple of my hubbys cousins. i bought a wristband for my oldest (almost 8) and she went off the go play with the cousins 2 kids-theyre 11 and 12. as she was going off, i thought to myself that i hope she doesnt get seperated from the older kids or they dont decide to go off and do their own thing and leave her by herself. theyre good kids, but they are kids-anything can happen. anyway, we walked around and at about 9, we were pretty done and getting ready to leave. my hubby was going to call his cousin and see what she had in mind, if she was getting ready to go or whatever. as hes reaching into his pocket for his phone, i look around and go "wheres isabelle(our 4 year old)?" my hubby spun around and she was gone. we walked back a few steps-not there. i started calling her name-could not find her. you want to talk about scary??? a tiny lil 4 year old, all by herself, in a loud crazy place-with about 5,000 people milling around. i started to cry, searching for her, screaming her name. my hubby got on his phone and called his cousin. she was in the back of the carnival, we were in the front. she and her hubby split up and started walking towards us, we started walking back towards her-and almost to the middle, our dd ran out from somewhere...i dont even know where she was-all i saw was this little body in an orange tank top and blue shorts running towards us crying and screaming. i dont know what happened-either she stopped to look at something...or a crowd of people came between us. it could have been so much worse. but for those 2 minutes when we couldnt find her-it was so scary. i thought for sure that someone had grabbed her. i could see myself on the news issuing an amber alert-that thought still makes me nauseous. i have talked to her about it-and i feel so bad for her. she told me she was standing there, crying and no one would help her. everyone kept looking at her, but no one helped her-except her "police officer." she keeps talking about this man that helped lead her back to us. there was no police officer there when we found her, there was just her running towards us. i would have to think if it was a police officer, they would have questioned us about what happened and probably told us that we need to be more careful, that it could have been worse, etc. even if it was just a regular person, i think they would have made sure that she got to the right person, etc. so i think it was an angel. i really do. i am so thankful that we found her as quick as we did...it could have been worse. it could have really been tragic. i still get choked up when i think of it...hold onto your kids even if they dont want you to-one minute they can be there, the next youre searching for them, calling their name...i dont wish that terror on anyone. take care!!

(I am new here but I plan to stick around!)

HUGS TO YOU!!!! I know that can be awfully frightening! I am so glad that you guys found her!!! I was thinking the SAME thing... definitely an angel of some sort. THAT is one of my biggest fears too. I "lost" my DS when he was only a little over a year old. He was in our living room playing and I stepped outside in the garage to grab some laundry. (literally took me 30 seconds) and when
