DD's progress report meeting.

I felt like I was in school. Teacher asked DH and I questions about DD. The teacher wanted to know if we knew our child. We passed and the teacher was very proud of herself. She pointed out our DD doesn't know her address just the state she lives in. I asked the teacher did you say

YIKES! That would be such a frustrating progress report meeting. Obviously the teacher needs to work on how she is asking certain questions. Do you like the teacher otherwise or have you had issues with her through the year?

The teacher gets my daughter confused with another little girl with brown hair same height but the name isn't even close to the same they look totally different. I talked to another Mom and she said the teacher confuses her son with another little boy who also has blonde hair but look totally different.

I don't blame you one bit for being disappointed. I would be too! I understand that teachers make mistakes from time to time. However, to have two teachers in the same school confuse children to that extreme is alarming. Hopefully you'll have better luck in the public school they attend next year.
