With food prices skyrocketing, are you concerned that you may eventually
need to turn to food stamps or a food bank in order to feed your family?

I;m concerned about the costs of food, yes. But I don't think we would qualify for help from either food stamps or a food bank.

I've learned to shop on a budget and stock up on sale items that we use a lot. I have a deep freeze that I'm slowly (very slowly) trying to restock after we lost all of our meat, etc in the ice storm we had last year. We had it completely full, over $1000 worth of meat and other frozen foods and ended up being without power for over a week and lost it all.

We also don't eat out as much (maybe 2 times a month now) and we buy more store brand items than national brands. It helps, but not much.

If only my husbands annual raise reflected the actual cost of living...
