Wow, do I miss you all! I have not posted in a looong time. The last couple of months have been so hectic. My house has been a source of one continuous strep infection going from one member to the other for eight weeks. Michaela tested positive FOUR times in two months. Long story short, the girls may have their tonsils/adenoids out (Mark already had it done, and he has NOT gotten strep, only ear infections). Michelle had minor surgery, Mikey, thankfully is still stateside at Camp Lejeune, though thinks he may be shipping out May 1st, no confirmation as of yet (he's coming home next Friday for four day leave!! yippeeeee, haven't seen him since he was activated in January). DH has been swamped at work and gets home later and later it seems! The kids (for those who came on board during my *hiatus*, I am the proud 37 year old mom of a 20 year old Marine, and 5 1/2 year old boy, girl, girl triplets) are getting so big and old!! Can't believe 1st grade is around the corner (can ya hear me hip-hip-hooraying from the east coast?!!!!). We have settled into the new house in NH for the most part and once we get rid of this stinking snow we can start to do the stuff around the yard and inside we want to do. Hmmmm...let's see not much else 'cept the usual running around crazy days taking care of the kids, the house, you know the stuff we all do daily. I do have to share something.

Of course I think about you all the time and keep saying I have to post. Well, Sunday night I was cleaning and listening to one of those soft rock stations that has the dedications. A woman called about a "due date club" of which she is a member online. She was talking about these women she has gotten to know online and how close they all are and how they post to each other with happy news, sad news, etc. and they have never met! Anyway, you know I was all choked up right there in the kitchen thinking about you all (sniffle!!!). It was so sweet, and true and reminded me of the bond I share with so many of you...and how much I miss you. So, forgive me for letting my crazy life keep me from nurturing my friendships, which I do cherish!

p.s. and yes, it's 4:30am and I am drinking coffee and posting! I have (if you can believe it!!) actually been sleeping well! For those of you who know me and know I am an insomniac and most of my posts were at crazy times. But, this night my 5 year old daughters' "alarm clock" went off at 3am at the loudest BEEPING setting it could be on. Michelle had to have an alarm clock like daddy has for work, and the girls listen to music now (how old are we?!!! I am not ready! I still have Raffi and Wiggles tapes!) and must have hit some buttons!!!! Anyway, here I sit wide awake but tired. So, I am going to pour my second cup of coffee and pull out some clothes I have to go through for the bi-annual clothing/toy sale this weekend!

Love and miss you all! Terri

Hiya Terri! Of course you are always welcome!!! I can completely relate to your situation, it's been that way at my house too. We get over one round of illness to have it start all over again. Nate has had the most trouble. I'm hoping that it's just his immune system getting used to school. I've also been known to dissapear for a chunk of time and then resurface later. So I have absolutely no room to talk.

It is hard to believe how old the kids are getting and how "grown up" they are becoming! You will have to post some pics of your kids when you get a chance. I'm sure you're thrilled about Mike coming home! I hope all goes well.

Take care. I look forward to catching up!

Hi Terri, of course you are welcome here. I am glad your family is doing well and they are healthy. I don't know what the deal is with strep this year, but I think everyone I know has had at least one go around with it including me and I never get sick.

Thanks for the update, I enjoy hearing stories about the triplets. Have a great visit with Mikey. My thoughts and prayers are with him and all of the military men and women.

It's so good to hear from you Terri. Glad things are going well (hope you can catch up on some sleep later - LOL!). Good to know the triplets are still up to their antics. I sure do miss your stories.

Take care and keep in touch.

I'm hanging out here as my dd#2 turns 4 this Sunday....I only lurked when dd#1 was 4/5 but I must've seen you somewhere else cuz you sound familiar. Gosh, chalk it up to my Mommyheimers!

Anyway, hope you post more often. I can relate to the early AM hours - my soon to be 4 yo woke me up at 3:07am, jumped in our bed & coughed for 1/2 hr. So you can imagine I didn't get much sleep until the alarm went off at 5!

Hi Terri! I was wondering what happened to your funny stories about the triplets. And I hope Mikey stays safely stateside.

Happy to hear from you!

Hi Terri! When I was scanning the posts last week, I was wondering what happened to you. I always enjoyed your stories way-back-when you posted on the 2&3 board. Wow, your triplets are 5-1/2 now?!?!? Goodness... And Mike(y) is a marine?!?!?! Wowzers, I've missed a bunch.

Great to see ya!

I have heard stuff like that on the radio and it tears me up, too. Don't worry about not being able to check in every day! We love you, and know we'll hear from you eventually! =) Glad all is going well, outside of that strep (YIKES!!). Kiss Mikey for us! I hope he doesn't have to go anywhere, Terri. I'm praying for you, honey! Kiss the kids, and get pics online soon, ok?

Love ya,

Janet =)
