Yikes!!! I never do things easy. I was 9 mnths pregnant when my oldest went to kindy so was waddling him to testing week before school started. Now my oldest had surgery monday (scheduled nothing major but looks beat up litterally and figuratively) and my little one was a little freak, DH and I are physically and emotionally drained and oh well at least we were already scheduled to be off. As for the testing that makes me nervous, socially he has this but for me he won't do letters. My MIL swears he can correctly identfy for her but for me he just rambles off letters. Just hoping they don't want to put him in their prek instead because thats $200 more a month so if he doesn't do well in testing and they say no kindergarten we are out the $200 registration fee and back on the school hunt!!

Oh my goodness, Heidi!  Crazy that they take the registration fee before the testing.  I hope everything works out well.  Keep us posted!

Well he passed!! He was a bit on the low end but considering he had zero preschool we expected that and gained SO much respect for the school for not trying to sell us on the more expensive preschool option. We do have to work on letters and holding a pencil over the summer. Course the pencil set off some alarms wondering if he will have motor skill issues like his brother but again could be lack of practice too.

Next step is uniform measuring and they sent an order form with the acceptance letter and since smallest pant size was 5/6 and he can still fit into a 3t/4t this should be interesting. Accept for gym we don't have buy their paints so we will see if maybe we can shrink the gym pants when we get them. Shirts come in a 4 and well at least chances are slim he will outgrow anything too soon...
