Matel Toy Recall Question
Fri, 08-24-2007 - 11:26am

I have several of the toys recalled by Matel for Lead Paint. I have found it impossible to get info on how to get your money back, because they obviously make it purposely difficult! It is a maddening web of electronic phone options and you can't get anywhere on the internet - half the numbers supplied on the web page have 'changed' - does anyone know specifically where to send the toys to get a refund? Thanks,

I went to their website to find out more about the toy recall the other day, and they have a section on the toy recall, with brochures that you can print out. There's a form on the back of the brochure, and you're supposed to fill it out, and send it to the address on it with your toy. Here's what I wonder - my daughter has a Dora carnival from last year, that starts with a 6 serial number. If they are only recalling carnivals with 7 serial numbers from this year, does that mean Bella's carnival is safe? Or that they just didn't know it was dangerous back then and aren't bothered now since it's old?
