Hello, everyone! I just wanted to welcome our newcomers to the board! There are lots of new faces, and it's wonderful to see!

Tre is enjoying full time care. I am glad he'll be in Kindy soon, though. There sare so many children in his room and I don't think the teachers pay that much attention to what the kids are doing until it is too late. I went in to pick him up one day last week and he had a huge bump on his head and when I asked what happened, they didn't know. She said he hadn't told her, then she siad, he "cries". I was so mad. I got a report three days later. I am noticing things that aren't too cool by me so I think I am going to talk with the director. Things are just crazy right now. UG! He is OK, but I just want them watching more....and not just mine. DH said he saw a kid get cracked on the head by a wodden puzzle and the child was half way across the room before the teacher paid any attention. They don't observe these kids enought o understand their individual personalities, KWIM? I don't care how much he "cries" your butt better ask him "Are you OK?" and wait for a reply. I don't pay for him to watch himself! Other aprents don't pay for their kids to get bitten and ignored either! ARGH!! I have to stop or I'll get all heated up again. I really need to talk to the director.

Anyway, there have been lots of great stuff too. He went to a Hispanic Children's Play at an art museum. He saw the airport, too, and loved it! So there are beneies too.

You all have a great weekend. I'm sorry it takes me so long to post these days. I'm trying to get better with that. When I'm ready to post, my PC is down, and visa versa! LOL!!

Ciao, bella!

It is unreal how many daycares have too many kids and they aren't being supervised properly. I definitely think that you should talk to the director, and some of the other parents may back you up if you talk to them. If a child is crying and they don't know why it is their job to find out why. I'm glad that he is enjoying it there otherwise...I hope your computer behaves from now on. Have a good weekend!

Thanks, Tracey! Things are going much better. I'm just biding my time. He does love it, so I'm not upset too bad, I just wish they'd watch a bit more. My eyes are always open though. =)
