I only have two kids and I'm guilty of being lazy sometimes too. It's hard to be consistent when sometimes it just seems easier to let "things" happen. Unfortunately, the only way to stop the tantrums/screaming is to be consistent with your follow-through. Right now, your daughter has figured out how to get her way. She's tested you and determined that if she throws a big enough fit you'll let her get her way. She may be only 4-years-old, but kids are very intuiative so she's totally got your number. You need to re-estabish "the rules" with her and then you need to enforce them everytime. You have to be consistent with your consequences and you have to get down on her level (your knees) to make eye contact with her when you're talking to her. Good luck!
