My DD Aparna has so far been a very sound sleeper because she stays so active in her school and at home, except the last 3 days. She constantly wakes up and comes to our bedroom saying some reason..This all happens 2 hrs after she goes to sleep. We are expecting our second baby this december and this sudden behavior really freaks me out. Its okay to comfort her in our bed for few nights because DH sleeps on the floor when she comes to our room. Then again she has been waking up middle of the night, suddenly cries and tells us that one of her school friends told her that she is not her friend any more..Then I console her and put her back to sleep. Then again she gets up crying after 2 hrs telling that she dreamt something bad..Our sleep is totally affected for the past 3 days and I have no clue whats going on with her.

Is it because of Halloween she has wierd dreams? I hope this is just a phase and my DD will be able to have a better sleep. This has never happened with her before, so its totally new. Her night schedule is pretty much the same, we never read scary stories or watch anything on tv before she goes to sleep. So I wonder where this is all coming from..

Any BTDT moms?

You know, I remember about 1-2 months ago - Logan was doing the same thing. It lasted for about 4-5 days. He would way up telling me he had a bad dream and was scared. I would calm him down... and he'd fall back asleep. It was crazy!!! Logan never watches anything scary at my house... so unless he heard/saw something somewhere else... it wasn't from that. Hopefully Aparna is just going through a quick stage like Logan did. You need your sleep!!!!
