Droopy eyes?

Hi Everyone,
I'm posting this on behalf of a friend. I watch his little boy about once a week- he's around 16 months old. The dad is concerned about how the little boy's eyes always look kind of droopy. He said the people at the daycare call him "sleepy eyes". I can definitely see what he is talking about but have no idea what it could mean (if anything). My kids eyes never looked like that. Anyone have any ideas?

I would think the place to start is the pediatrician or even a pediatric opthamologist. I may be something very simple that he would grow out of or it could be sign of something neurological. I'm always on the cautious side and like a professional opinion.
Okay-- so I did some web searching and now I say GET HIM TO A PEDIATRIC OPTHAMOLOGIST ASAP. Looks like it can be pretty serious and a precursor to other eye issues. You definitely want to see a pediatric eye dr. vs. just a regular eye dr.
