I don't know about you.... but I am DREADING the first day of school.   Ava will be in full day kindergarten.....  I have had her next to me for 6 years and now life is going to change.   I already told DH he needs to take the day off of work, as I am going to be a mess.   I know it's a good thing.... and it is the next progression... but it just seems to be going so fast.    I'm grateful that Danny is only 2 !

Anyone else?

I tend to think its a first born thing, when you get to your second, or third, its not that big of a deal at all. Actually for my first she was very outgoing and was ready to go and I was happy for her. This one, Emma is ready for the most part, and I am definitely ready for her to go, she loves learning and is inquisitive and I know she will love school, even if she's a bit more anxiety ridden that I thought she would be. I was going to go in late to work the first day of school, be we have a training at work. DH has already said he's taking her to school, he didnt' get to take his son ever to his first day of school and he's apparently still scarred from it...

I made my DH take the morning off work too when my youngest started Kindergarten a few years ago. (Aaahhh...I can't believe it's already been a "few years ago!!" SNIFF).

When does school start? My kids started back last week!
