I have a child (girl) in my care that is 22 months old. Her mom is so sure that she has to be potty trained and shes able to do it its craxzy. This girl cant even hold her bladder for 15 mins sometimes. I think the mom just wants to get rid of pullups/diapers forever and doesnt care what it takes. I have 5 other kids in my care and this drives me crazy! We do thick undies with pants and I only take her potty every hr if she goes and every 30 mins if she doesnt. When she has an accident I put it in the bag for mom to laundry at home. Any help?!

Jenn, Hi and welcome to the Toilet Teaching board.

By the sounds of it, the girl you watch is not quite ready to be potty trained. Is the mom doing the same thing you are doing at home? If there is not consistency there will be confusion and frustration which can lead to further delays. In my opinion, If the girl you watch is not showing interest, I would tell the mother that at this time you can not go further with potty training. I hope that helps. Please keep us updated.
