Hello flbon2.

at this age,she has found out that potty training takes time away from her fun time, and if mom or dad just get tired and put a pull-up on,she does not need to bother trying so hard.

get rid of all diapers and pull-ups,and keep with the regular cotton panties with plastic panties for about another 6 months(hopefully it will not take that long).

if she is still not trained by three years of age,we can try the three strikes method I have used for around 40 years of babysitting.I have very seldom had many that did not train with-in a couple of weeks this way,but a lot of people now find this method a bit to harsh, this is up to each,I am old fashioned and stay with what I know works.

I wish you luck and please feel free to ask any questions you have.

please keep us up-dated.

Many Blessings.

The three strikes method is a last ditch effort for the very stuborn over three year olds that refuse to train.

you have only three pair of cloth training pants and a dozen pair of plastic pants, you and the child will pick a day,(mainly you),when the diapers and pull-ups are gone.

then you will let them know that they will have only three pair of underpants for the entire day,

after they wet or mess the first pair, change him/her the same as normal, reminding them that there are only two left, then the same with this pair only put a pair of plastic pants on over this last pair.

if they wet or mess all three, then they have only the plastic pants for the rest of the day.

then start the same routine the next day,you must be consistant and do not return to diapers.

this should last no more than a couple of weeks at most.

I hope this helps.

Many Blessings.
